When buying tissue paper, what it’s made from matters. Whether you’re drying your hands, wiping surfaces, or caring for your skin, knowing the type of paper pulp can help you choose the right product. Here are the 3 main types:

Virgin pulp
Virgin pulp is made from freshly harvested wood or plant fibers with no recycled content. Tissue made from 100% virgin pulp is known for its softness, strength, and absorbency, making it ideal for personal care and hygienic tasks.
Our Carie Pluz Multi-Purpose Towel is made with 100% virgin pulp, delivering premium quality you can feel. It is strong for everyday cleaning, gentle on skin, and safe for food contact backed by FDA tests — the true multi-purpose for everyday need.
Mixed pulp
Mixed pulp combines both virgin and recycled fibers. This is the most common type of tissue found in the Thai market. It offers a balance between quality and cost but may not match the softness or durability of pure virgin pulp tissues.
Recycled pulp
Recycled pulp is made entirely from recovered paper. It’s a sustainable choice that supports waste reduction and resource conservation. This type of pulp is commonly used in industrial and utility tissue products.
At Carie Pluz, we’re committed to doing our part for the environment. That’s why we also offer Jumbo Roll Tissue and Hand Towels made from recycled pulp—helping reduce waste while providing practical, reliable solutions for everyday use.
